Petzl Croll S – Chest Ascender

Designed for rope ascents, the CROLL S chest ascender is lightweight and easy to use. The connecting eyelets provide efficient hold during the ascent. Made of stainless steel, the protective plate increases wear resistance and protects the area from rope friction. It is suitable for ropes from 8 to 11 mm in diameter.

Features of the Petzl Croll S Chest Ascender

• Efficiency and ease of use when ascending the rope:
  – Use in combination with a BASIC rope clamp or ASCENSION hand ascender for rope ascents.
  – The lower attachment eyelet is oriented so that the chest ascender lies flat on the chest after it is attached.
  – The upper attachment eye is used to attach a TORSE shoulder strap and holds the ascender in the correct position.
  – Opening safety lock by blocking for easy and quick handling,
• High durability:
  – Stainless steel protective plate increases wear resistance.
  – The stainless steel clamp cam ensures high corrosion resistance.
• Suitable for intensive use and speleology:
  – compatible with ropes from 8 to 11 mm in diameter,

  – serrated clamping cam with cleaning slot for optimal operation in all conditions (icy, silty rope, etc.).
