Petzl Croll L – Chest Ascender

Designed for rope ascents, the CROLL chest ascender is easy to use. The connecting eyelets provide efficient hold during the ascent. Thanks to the wide guide groove, it is ideal for large diameter ropes (even furry or hard ropes) and reduces friction. It is suitable for ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter.

Features of the Petzl Croll L Chest Ascender

• Efficiency and ease of use when ascending the rope:
  – Use in combination with a BASIC rope clamp or ASCENSION hand ascender for rope ascents.
  – The lower attachment eyelet is oriented so that the chest ascender lies flat on the chest after it is attached.
  – The upper attachment eye is used to attach a TORSE shoulder strap and holds the ascender in the correct position.
  – Opening safety lock by blocking for easy and quick handling,
• Optimized for large diameter ropes:
  – Wide guide groove to reduce friction on large diameter ropes (including furry or hard ropes),
  – Compatible with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter.
• Suitable for all conditions of use:
  – Serrated clamping cam with cleaning slot for optimal operation in all conditions (icy, silty rope, etc.).
  – The stainless steel clamping cam ensures high resistance to corrosion.
• Material: aluminum body, stainless steel clamp cam, polyamide safety lock.
